Precision Engineering provided turnkey installation of an Emerson DeltaV control system for an Alumina Plant at Ormet. Engineering includes DCS configuration, graphics configuration, instrument loop sheet design, training, and loop check. The construction includes providing control panel assembly, fiber optic terminations, startup and commissioning. The Alumina plant project consisted of approximately 450 I/O and 25 operator graphics. The scope of work also included a new DeltaV control system to control pH at Conway Canal. Precision Engineering provided the configuration for the pH project as well as installation of fiber optic communications equipment between the pH control system and the Alumina Plant control system.
