Turnkey replacement project which consisted of converting the Forming, Aging, and Finishing Plants of a catalyst production plant to Honeywell Experion DCS. The project consists of replacing the existing pneumatic controls with DCS I/O and Operators Stations. Precision Engineering executed the project "turnkey". The project included hot cutover of the Finishing Plant. The engineering included configuration for over 500 I/O points, custom graphics and reinstrumentation of 200 instruments. Construction consisted of installation of new control panels, new instrumentation and installation of new field wiring/conduit.
