Senior Information/Control Systems Engineer responsible for the design and implementation of process control and monitoring systems, and data collection and information systems. Projects include: turnkey design and installation of a herbicide production facility control system at Syngenta; a process monitoring and data collection system for automotive fuel injectors at Siemens; DCS replacement project which included 8,000 I/O, 400 operator graphics and extensive sequence code for GE Plastics; a data collection and quality analysis system for a chemical production facility; a process control and monitoring system for a nine-person hyperbaric chamber. Projects have been in refining, oil, gas, specialty chemical and discrete manufacturing industries. 1996 to 1997 Senior Software Engineer responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of embedded real-time software systems for network capable laser print systems. Areas of focus included the Print Engine Control Subsystem, Print Language Emulations, overall System Support functions, and Operating Systems. Other areas of responsibility included direct involvement in the continued improvement of software quality, configuration management, and software engineering methodologies. 1994 to 1996 Software Development Engineer/Manager responsible for the design and development of DOS and Windows based software products including communications drivers for serial and network devices, DDE and OLE Automation servers, Client/Server based data collection and reporting systems, and Graphical User Interface (GUI) products for manufacturing applications. 1992 to 1994 Control Systems Engineer responsible for the design and development of process monitoring and data collection systems for a variety of manufacturing industries. These systems utilized multiple PLC configurations integrated with networked computer systems and cable television systems to display real-time process information, collect long-term historical data, and analyze quality information. |
