Control Systems Engineer responsible for the design and implementation of process control and monitoring systems. Projects include: control system upgrade project for an Alumina Plant (Foxboro Videospec to DeltaV), DCS Conversion of a hydrogen peroxide plant from Fisher Provox to DeltaV, and DeltaV DCS configuration for a stormwater project. Responsibilities on all projects included DCS configuration, interlock/control logic configuration, graphics configuration, control panel design, installation, start-up support, and interfacing with operations/engineering/maintenance personnel. 2001 to 2004 Control Systems Engineer for a system integration company in Mobile, AL. Responsible for the design and implementation of process control systems. Projects included: DCS Conversion of a natural gas processing plant from Honeywell TDC2000 to Honeywell Experion, DCS conversion of a wastewater treatment facility from Foxboro IA to DeltaV, DCS conversion of specialty chemicals facility from Moore MLC to Fisher DeltaV, and configuration of continuous and interlock logic for new batch specialty plant utilizing the DeltaV automation system. The batch specialty plant project included configuration of Modbus communications between DeltaV and SIS (Quadlog) and generating/testing Safety Interlock System graphics. Responsibilities on all projects included configuration of DCS, interlock/control logic configuration, graphics configuration, installation, start-up support, and interfacing with operations/engineering/maintenance personnel. 2000 to 2001 Electrical Engineer for CDC Engineers in Mobile, AL. Responsible for designing full electrical construction packages for commercial buildings and condominiums. Packages included detailed lighting plans, power distribution, grounding systems, electrical panel schedules, and electrical installation details. |
