Senior Information and Control System Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of engineering/IT projects. Projects have included the following: refinery control system upgrade (750 loops) , pH control of effluent rainwater, rotary kiln control system upgrade, Aspentech InfoPlus.21 reporting/email system, RFID tracking system integration, custom Automotive Part control and tracking software, lumber mill dipping system, and custom interface between legacy VAX based business system and new Yokogawa control system. The services performed have included estimations, client interfacing, proposal writing, design, implementation, testing, and startup. Technologies used included Yokogawa DCS, Honeywell DCS, DeltaV DCS, Allen Bradley PLC, Visual Basic 6, VB.NET, ASP, ASP.NET, OPC, Access, Oracle, and MS-SQL database.

Technical Specialist in the Information System Department of an international automotive manufacturer. Worked with Java, Visual Age /Websphere/ EJB / DB2 environment for plant wide quality/tracking system. All code was programmed in Java and communicated with several plant floor devices such as PLC's (AB, Omron, Mitisubishi),torque guns, and scanners.

Experience with Allen-Bradley, Yokogawa, DeltaV, SQL Databases, and Internet/Intranet site development. Utilized such technologies as MSSQL server, IIS, VB, and ASP.

Control System Engineer responsible for the design, configuration, testing, installation, and startup of control systems for various industrial clients such as (Shell and Airgas). I worked for Shell Offshore on a control system upgrade of a local offshore platform. Technologies used included Intellution, Allen Bradley, Wonderware, safety shutdown systems, radio communications, and voice annunciator systems.

1993-1996
Systems Engineer responsible for the design, maintenance, and installation of control and manufacturing systems for international fiber plant. In addition to regular plant project and issues, I served as one of three lead controls engineer in a year long control system project for a new plant. Duties included on-call support; troubleshooting and programming PLCHMI based control system. Technologies used included Allen Bradley PLCs, Intellution HMI, Telxon Hand scanners, and communications.
